  15. ‘Even with troubled teams Seedorf was able to make substantial improvements with every team he has coached’

Do any Newcastle fans out there remember Dutch legend
Clarence Seedorf being heavily linked with the Magpies job back in 2015?

Seedorf was sacked as coach of Cameroon this week after
less than a year in the job, following similarly short spells in charge of AC
Milan, Shenzhen and Deportivo La Coruna, but his agent has defended his
    managerial record.

In a statement, Deborah Martin said: “It continues to be
written that Clarence Seedorf has not performed with the clubs which he has
    coached.

“Each of the clubs were in trouble, with bad results when
he joined and also after he was replaced with coaches that had worst results
than him despite, like in the case of Sven-Goran Eriksson (at Chinese club
Shenzhen) being much more experienced than him.

“These coaches who came after him were also unable to
produce a winning team even though they were afforded the opportunity to make
their own team, an advantage Seedorf has never had the privilege to do.This clearly is more about the team/club
than the coach. The story here is not
what kind of coach Seedorf is but that
even with troubled teams he was able to make substantial improvements with
    every team he has coached.”
