A CALL FOR IMMEDIATE RESIGNATION OF JUSTICE ZAINAB BULKACHIWA AS HEAD OF NIGERIA PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION PETITION TRIBUNAL

Adamu Mohammed Bulkachiwa (Senator-elect of Bauchi North Senatorial Disctrict on the platform of the ruling party All Progressives Congress – APC #APC) is the husband of the president of the Court Of Appeal Nigeria #Justice #Zainab Bulkachiwa. What a shame and disgrace on president Muhammadu Buhari! He strategically positioned her as president of court of appeal to influence the judgement of appeal court cases and more importantly the presidential election petition in his favour having removed the substantive Chief Justice of Nigeria Justice Walter #Onnoghen. How can the presidential #election petition tribunal be headed by a woman whose husband is a Senator-elect on the platform of President Buhari's party? It is absolutely wrong and very condemnable.

This is total tyranny and must never be allowed to stand. In absolute respect for dignity and the rule of law, Justice Zainab Bulkachiwa should as a matter of urgency resign immediately as the head of presidential election petition tribunal.

The world is watching the massive injustice being perpetrated by Buhari's administration.
The Nigerian Judicial Council #NJC has disgraced themselves by confirming #Tanko Ibrahim to serve in acting capacity as #CJN for another three months. What a shame!

It is time for #Nigerian Judiciary, Nigerian Bar Association #NBA and other notable bodies in Nigerian #Judiciary to stand up and defennd Nigeria's hard earned democracy.
The Nigeria presidential election petition tribunal must have a judge of unquestionable character as head.

#Justice must be allowed to prevail in Nigeria and the time is now. The world and the international community is called upon to intervene and compel president Buhari of Nigeria to allow Judiciary in the country to exercise their independence in their service to Nigerians and not to him and his cohorts.
