A CALL FOR REPUBLICANS IN THE U.S SENATE TO UNITE AND ACQUIT PRESIDENT TRUMP.
In the build up to the impeachment of the 42nd President of the United States, President Bill Clinton in 1998, the House of Representatives presented specific charges of perjury and obstruction of justice. These charges emanated from his lying under oath hence, the lawsuit filed against him for denial of sexual harassment with White House intern, Monica Lewinsky.

In the case of President Donald J. Trump, House of representatives accused the President of abuse of power and obstruction of congress with no substantial evidence or defined specific crime committed in the two articles of impeachment sent to the U.S Senate. The 25th July phone call between President Trump and President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine had the transcript released to the amazement of Democrats. The contents of the transcript proved Democrats wrong on all the allegations of Quid Pro Quo, Bribery, High crimes and misdemeanor against President Trump.

The booming economy of the United States as a result of President Trump's great economic policies in the midst of these witch hunt by the Democrats is a clear evidence of their rejection by the American people.

Since the election of President Trump in November 2016, the Democrats have consistently exhibited violent hatred for him as well as unashamedly fought every step he has taken to improve the lives and well being of Americans.

The Americans ought to see through these negative tendencies and attributes and must understand that Democrats do not have their interests at heart.

The signing of U.S./China phase one trade deal and the soon to be approved, United States–Mexico–Canada Agreement, USMCA trade deal points to President Trump's economic efficiency and prudence.

As the two articles of impeachment have finally been delivered to U.S Senate, the Republicans should as a matter of necessity be strongly united and acquit the President of these unsubstantiated and false allegations. They should not yield to the demands of Democrats for witnesses they also rejected same for Bill Clinton in 1999.

Worthy of note is that Democrats are never interested in facts but simply committed to tarnishing the image of a performing president in order to hurt him in the 2020 Presidential election.

The Republican party should acknowledge that there is no comparison between President Trump and the Democrats as far as the interest of the American people are concerned. The glaring frauds perpetrated by President Obama whose only achievement as President was championing same sex marriage (a big disgrace), Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden are evident to the American people.

It is time Republicans in the Senate stayed strong and united in order to acquit President Trump in the shortest possible time, giving no credit to the sham impeachment conducted by the House.
They should concentrate on the business of serving the American people through enacting more favourable policies and supporting President Trump so America can be greater than it is today.
