A CLARION CALL FOR IGBO UNITY
The #Igbo nation are beckoned on to unite themselves before it will be too late. They are a special breed of humans endowed with many talents, relentless attitude and goal-getting by God. Indeed, the positive impacts and indelible marks that well-meaning and notable Igbo sons have demonstrated are too numerous to be mentioned. Talk about their die-hard nature, never-give-up spirit, business prowess, and successful enterprise, their active representation in the academia and above all their love for God and wider acceptance of the Christian Religion.
The good efforts past Igbo heroes established, orchestrated the great respectable status which the contemporary Ndi Igbo enjoy today. Great men such as Nnamdi Azikiwe, Akanu Ibiam, Ukpabi Asika, Chuba Okadigbo and their likes really promoted and protected the Igbo unity, brotherliness, ethnic interests and heritage in Nigeria. Hence, posterity hold them to high esteem.
Unfortunately, the kind of Igbo leaders we encounter in recent times are mere contrasted versions of the aforementioned. They are not only greedy, unscrupulous and selfish saboteurs, they have really turned into betrayers of their brethren. Their attitude towards their brethren leave a lot of questions on what they have left for the younger Igbo nation as their predecessors.
Imagine the Enugu state governor, encouraging the state to be Islamized, and inviting Muslims to build a mosque in Enugu State in addition to the already existing one there. Also, he encouraged the state to sell out 25% of their votes to Buhari, in other to pacify him. What a disgrace! It has been the same case with Governor Okezie Ikpeazu , of Abia, Chief Willie Obiano of Anambra, Engr. Dave Umahi of Ebonyi and treasonable Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo state. It is clear that these examples, don't signify good leadership on the part of the Igbos. Is this how we want to produce an Igbo President or be independent as a nation?
This is a call on Ohaneze Ndi Igbo and the entire Igbo Nation to ostracize and excommunicate these betrayers and publicly cast their aspersions on them.
Also, Traditional rulers and other of their praise-singers are hereby called upon to stop giving them chieftaincy titles and desist from such nefarious practices. It is an aberration of note. Indeed, all Igbos, who run after Buhari our enemy, should be heavily condemned and criticized and also ostracized by Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo, the pan-cultural association of Igbos. They are unworthy sons of Igbo land. Igbos must be United in order to progress and we need good leaders to achieve this.
On the other hand, Boss Mustapha the Secretary of the Federation and Vice-President Professor Yemi Osinbajo, the so-called Christians have proved themselves to be sellouts. Indeed, they exist as traitors and wolves in sheep’s clothing. The true body of Christ is not divided. No true believer would aid and abet the heinous crimes of the incumbent government against humanity as they have done.
