CHRISTIANS, STAND UP AND SPEAK UP

It is no longer news that there is a hidden agenda in Nigeria to annihilate #Christianity. The very worrisome and pitiable conditions that #Christians in #Nigeria have found themselves, most especially the massive waste of innocent and helpless souls through killings has forcefully subjected them to speak up for the world to run to their rescue. This is because help from within seems like an illusion. Those who try to help encounter calculated efforts that suppress and frustrate any form of assistance they are willing to provide.

The recent barbaric killings in the country necessitated the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, to lead a peaceful protest against Christian decimation. They also urged some renowned clergymen to follow suit.

Peaceful protests have always been an integral part of a democratic government. It is characterised by carrying placards which is an internationally practised style of public complaint against any government/action. Why then should All Progressives Congress (APC), together with its unreliable chairman, Adams Oshiomole, condemn CAN for letting the world know of the heinous atrocities perpetrated in Nigeria especially the prevalent ambush against Christianity. The worst is that the government remains inert.

Why has the present government remained irresponsive in the fight against insecurity with respect to the killing of Christians? But the same government will come to full strength when cows are killed. Is #Oshiomole not seeing the harvest of blood, or is he blinded by money?

Anybody who sees the gory video of the killing of Rev. Andimi, the CAN executive, but is against the protest involving men of God of repute, is nothing less than a demon and major oppressor.

Please, let it be published everywhere that Christians in Nigeria are gravely persecuted, killed without apologies and the government is comfortable with all these.
