COALITION OF NORTHERN GROUP's (CNG) 30-DAY ULTIMATUM – AN AFFRONT ON NIGERIAN CITIZENS AND A CALL FOR ANARCHY.

On Wednesday July 3rd 2019, the Coalition of Northern Group (CNG) issued a 30-day ultimatum to the Federal and Southern Leaders of Nigeria to accept the proposed RUGA settlement project or be ready to face the consequences. Speaking through the spokesman of the group Abdul-Azeez Suleiman, in his words "while we warn all state governments that stand against the implementation of the #RUGA initiative to desist and give peace a chance, we (CNG) place President Buhari and the federal government on notice that they must completely stop this raging madness within 30 days beginning 3rd July 2019".
It is heart-wrenching to ponder that since this press release by the CNG, the President and the presidency are yet to issue a single response to this blatant threat and affront on the federal government and the good people of Christian-dominated southern Nigeria, up to this moment. The Federal Government of Nigeria recently suspended the heavily criticized RUGA settlement agenda for Fulani herdsmen. Government's docility and silence in the face of a report that threatens the peace and unity of the nation demeans it's effort on clamping down on hate speech, thereby portraying the presidency as targeting the opposition and non-apologist to their weak policies.

The CNG should absolutely understand that under the Land Use Act, State Governments have their exclusive rights to the lands in their respective States and as such could not be cowed into forcefully submitting them for RUGA settlements which is a subtle fulanization agenda.
President Buhari is hereby advised to thread with caution, tow the line of honour and respect to the secular State of Nigeria. The visible and evident display of the pursuit of the Fulanization agenda in Nigeria is regrettable. This can be traced to the subtle Cattle colony project initiated few months ago by the FG which was vehemently rejected by Nigerians. Having failed in achieving cattle colony initiative, they quickly moved for establishment of AM radio station for Fulani herders, and now followed by RUGA settlement projects.

It is quite unfortunate that President Buhari, instead of arresting and prosecuting Fulani militia who have been declared the 4th world deadliest terrorist group according to Global Terrorism Index now seeks their welfare-a group that has continued to slaughter Nigerian citizens in cold blood, especially Christians.
It is time for the President to retrace his steps from supporting Fulani herdsmen and tow the line of peace.

Also, the attention of the International Community is hereby drawn to this provocative 30-day ultimatum by the CNG, as any threat to the lives of Nigerians, especially the Christian-dominated southern Nigeria, will be totally and absolutely resisted.

Cattle rearing is only but a business and should be treated as such.

No threats!!! No coercion!!! No Violence!!!
