IHEDIOHA'S RETURN TO THE SUPREME COURT: A MOVE IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION
Chief Emeka Ihedioha, the recently ousted Governor of Imo State and the Peoples Democratic Party are strongly commended for the move to return to the Supreme Court of Nigeria to challenge its Judgement of 14th January, 2020, concerning on Imo state Governorship election.
Indeed, Chief Emeka Ihedioha should not relent or give up easily as he still has the support of well-meaning patriots of Nigeria, who still believe in the rule of law, equity, justice, fairness and above all in true democracy. This is a big encouragement.
Moreso, the discrepancies in the said judgement issued by the Justice Kekere-ekun led seven-man panel over Imo governorship case earlier this month should not be allowed to prevail, especially as it subverts the contents of our Nation's 1999 constitution and Electoral Act of 2010 (as amended).
Hence, the stakeholders of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of Nigeria and all people of goodwill should support Chief Ihedioha in this process to restore justice, not only for the Imo people (whose franchise were abused by the judgement) or the present generation but also for our dear nation Nigeria and her future generations.
Chief Ihedioha is encouraged to fight for justice and reclaim his mandate which is inadvertently the voice of the people.
